Sunday, 21 July, is Guru Purnima in the Vedic Calender.
On this day, we honour all our teachers.
GURU, in Sanskrit is broken down into two parts where, ‘Gu’’means Darkness and 'Ru’' means light.
A Guru is one who removes the darkness by shining a light. The Guru is everywhere and comes in many forms. On this day, we honour them all, especially our inner Guru, the Guru Tattva/Principle.
We also honour the special relationship between the teacher and student.
Guru Purnima is celebrated every year, on this day which falls on the July full moon.
In honour of all my teachers and students, I am offering a 45-minute Guru Purnima Sadhana online.
