Mindful In May CHALLENGE Practice

Ever since I learned to meditate I have wanted to share this amazing practice with others

There are so many benefits of a regular meditation practice. The number ONE being better mental health. Meditation heals the central nervous system through reducing the damaging effects of stress.

‘Mindful in May’ is a fundraising Movement that began in 2012 to encourage the practice of Meditation. This Challenge/Practice is inspired by this Movement as well as my own experience and lineage of Shakti Mantra Meditation .

The intention for this Mindful In May Challenge & Practice :

  1. Better Mental Health

  2. Helping you create a regular meditation practice

  3. Raising Awareness about Meditation for Mental Health

  4. Helping heal the ‘collective consciousness’ of the planet

  5. Supporting the Mindful in May Initiative

We will be using a Shakti Mantra to invoke the healing power of the Goddess energy through chanting it 108 x times in Japa (repetitive) form using a Mala bead necklace to keep count.

Initiation will take place online on Sunday 1 May at 7:30PM via Zoom and we will learn and practice this chant together in this Japa style 108 x times.

Challenge/Practice : The Challenge is for you to Practice this chant daily, for the entire month of May. This is a time commitment of approximately 30 minutes each day.

Cost : A dollar ($1) a day, for the days you complete your practice and two dollars ( $2) for the days you miss your practice !

Payment will be due on 1 June 2022 and fifty percent (50%) of the funds collected will be donated to the Mindful In May Organisation.
